Pumpkin Patch

October 13, 2010

On Monday the boys had off of school for Native American Day and I just had to work the early morning, so we headed to Aurora, SD (down by Brookings) to Sanderson Gardens. The had a huge pumpkin patch and even though many of the pumpkins were very well rotted, we were able to find some good carving and baking pumpkins.

While we were in the area we stopped by the farm Todd has been doing work on and visited with him and hid dad. It was a great day with the kids that I enjoys very much.

How fun! Adeline had so much fun searching for “the perfect pumpkin” when we went. It’s been such a lovely fall!
