Trying something out…

I am just not on the computer much anymore, sad I know. I am on my iPad though and decided to try writing a post on here. Crazy life here, but we are now to the count down to the end of hockey, only about a month left. I am also excited for spring as I get to help the zoo out with the animal encounters for the school groups that come through. On the down side my job at the airport maybe leaving or changing to a new company, hopefully we found something out there soon.

On the craft front I have not been doing much, but I do have 2 art boards to make and 6 flower girl dresses to make.

That is about it here.

We are well into the hockey season, which finds us busy 3-6 nights a week from Oct-Feb. I do not mind all the hockey games and driving. This last weekend we got to go out to Pierre and visit the SD capital. They have the inside of it beautifully decorated for Christmas.

In A Funk…

I have been in a funk as of lately. Now that I think of it I think it has been almost a year. It is not good but it seems the harder I try the harder it gets to reverse. My whole yearning to craft and make stuff is gone. The joy is gone the satisfaction is gone. I have always been an artsty person and I am not feeling that way. I love to feel different and out of the box and I am feeling not that. I keep praying it changes I love who I was and yes there are some things that have changed, but not everything. My heart is in the country and I need to get there. Lately I can not get enough of the country. That weekend in WI was so wonderful. I could have stayed there forever… there is so much peace there and I connect out there. Last weekend we spent Sunday driving in the country and shoot riffles and if I did not have to go to the bathroom so bad we would have stayed out there till the sun went down. The guys have such an advantage in this area.

1st Day of School

Last Thursday was the 1st day of school for my kids. The younger two were very excited to start school, my oldest, not so much. When the morning came though Hailey (starting K) was very nervous and it was a very good thing she had her brothers there or I think she would of clung to me for dear life. After school that day I took her out for lunch and she talked my ear off about school. Later that night I ask her if she was ready to go back tomorrow, her response, “nah, it is not really my thing.” I sure hope it becomes her thing. The boys they are very vague on there answers of school. Logan is a very go with the flow type of kid… I have tried to hard to get him excited about stuff and I think he cares, but to get him excited about anything is a chore. Gabe, my oldest has always struggled with school. Too many directions or list and he is done for. He may remember one of them, but other then that he doesn’t.

Here is the picture on our back steps of the first day of school. I hope it is a great year for my kids and they absorb and learn a lot.

Where has the time gone…

Has it really been over a month since I last posted, yikes. Where has this summer gone. Has it really been three years since my baby was born? yikes where has that time gone.

So last week I had my first ever garage sale… it went well until someone wanted to buy all my cloth diapers. I had to have my husband take over as I was a mess. Was I really that connected to them, yup, I think I was. I ended up not welling them all and still have some, but they will all have to go and it just seems so official to my that my baby having years are over.

Also this past Monday was my youngest 3rd birthday. My baby turned 3! She is our little cowgirl 100%. For her birthday she wanted a horse… she got to go to a farm and ride a horse and get her picture taken with a horse. She also got boots and a hat which she wears everywhere, even with her PJs on. Her love for horses has really stirred my love for horses and the farm life in general. If it is also Gods will and he puts things in motion our next move will be to a house with land or just land and we will come up with a house later

Life I hope will slow down… I am loving life so much right now and I just feel like it is buzzing by faster then I can keep up. I hope to change that. Until next time here is my baby, enjoy.
